Ausmus leads Astros over A’s

Brad Ausmus homered and drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning, as the Houston Astros defeated the Oakland A’s 5-4 Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park.

Houston won the game as -160 home favorites, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (7.5).

Ausmus finished 3-for-5 with four RBI for the Astros. Dave Borkowski pitched two innings of relief for his first win of the season.

Mark Kotsay was 4-for-5 with a solo home run for the A’s. Ron Flores gave up the winning run and suffered the loss.
