The Houston Astros scored five runs in the third inning to defeat the Detroit Tigers 8-1 Saturday night at Minute Maid Park.
Houston won the game as a -105 pick’em, while the nine runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).
Kazuo Matsui went 2-for-4 at the plate with a two-run homer for the Astros. Felipe Paulino fanned nine batters and allowed just three hits over seven innings for the win.
Ramon Santiago homered in a losing effort for the Tigers. Alfredo Figaro gave up eight runs off 10 hits in six innings.
