Astros down Cards with late rally
The Houston Astros scored twice in the bottom of the ninth inning as they defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3 Wednesday at Minute Maid Park.
Houston won the game as +105 underdogs, while the seven runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (7).
Miguel Tejada drove in the winning run to lift the Astros to a three-game sweep. Jose Valverde tossed the ninth inning to earn the victory in relief.
Mark DeRosa homered in a losing cause for the Cardinals. Ryan Franklin blew a save opportunity and allowed two runs in the loss.
