White Sox get even with Brewers
Paul Konerko and Gordon Beckham drove in two runs apiece as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 7-1 Saturday afternoon to even the three-game series at Miller Park.
The White Sox won the game as +125 underdogs, but the eight runs went UNDER the day’s posted over/under (9.5).
Ramon Castro belted a solo home run for the White Sox. Jose Contreras tossed eight scoreless innings, allowing just two hits to earn his second victory of the season.
Casey McGehee drove in the lone run for the Brewers. Manny Parra gave up six runs in just 1 2-3 innings on the mound in the loss.
