The Milwaukee Brewers scored four runs late in the game Thursday, as they defeated the Washington Nationals 7-3 and earned a split of the four-game series at Miller Park.

Milwaukee won the game as -300 favorites, and the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Craig Counsell belted a two-run homer and finished with three runs batted in for the Brewers. Yovani Gallardo whiffed 11 batters over seven innings to post the victory.

Ryan Zimmerman smacked a three-run homer to drive in all of the Nationals runs. J.D. Martin gave up five runs over six innings in suffering the loss.
