Reds upend Brewers in extra innings
Joey Votto and Laynce Nix both homered in the top of the 13th inning to lift the Cincinnati Reds over the Milwaukee Brewers 8-6 on Tuesday night.
Cincinnati won as +125 road underdogs, while the teams played OVER the 9-run total listed by oddsmakers.
Nix finished with two dingers and three runs batted in for the Reds, as Danny Herrera got the win in relief of starter Bronson Arroyo for Cincinnati.
Ryan Braun knocked in a pair of runs for Milwaukee, while Todd Coffey took the loss after allowing the go-ahead runs in the top of the 13th inning.
