Cardinals crush Brewers

The St. Louis Cardinals got two RBI off the bat of MVP Albert Pujols in a 7-1 beating of the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park Saturday.

St. Louis won as a +139 road underdog while the final score played UNDER the 8.5-run total.

Pujols finished the day just 1-for-4 with a strikeout. Catcher Yadier Molina totaled three RBI for the Cardinals on a second-inning home run. Starter Jaime Garcia lasted six innings, giving up one run on four hits.

The Brewers lone run was knocked in by outfielder Corey Hart in the sixth inning. Pitcher Yovani Gallardo went five innings, allowing six runs on five hits.
