The Detroit Tigers doubled the Washington Nationals 8-4 Wednesday night for a three-game sweep at RFK Stadium.

Detroit won the game as -190 favorites, and the combined 12 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9.5).

Carlos Guillen belted a two-run homer, and Curtis Granderson also had two RBI for the Tigers. Jermey Bonderman won his eighth straight, allowing three runs from five hits over five innings of work.

Ryan Church was 2-for-3 with one RBI for the Nationals. Saul Rivera suffered the loss, giving up three runs in less than an inning of relief.
