Late rally lifts Indians
Cleveland scored three runs in the ninth inning on Saturday, as the Indians edged the Washington Nationals 4-3 at RFK Stadium.
The Indians were road favorites at -155, and the seven runs scored were UNDER the posted total of 9.5.
Paul Byrd gave up three runs on seven hits in 6 2-3 innings, while the win went to Tom Mastny (5-2). Victor Martinez's three-run shot was the difference for the Indians.
Matt Chico scattered a run on four hits over six innings, but Chad Cordero (1-2) took the loss. Dmitri Young and Cristian Guzman drove in a run each for the Nationals.
