Twins take series from Mets

The Minnesota Twins toppled the New York Mets 6-2 Wednesday night at Shea Stadium, and clinched the three-game series.

Minnesota won the game as +175 underdogs, while the eight runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).

Torii Hunter hit a two-run shot, and Joe Mauer also drove in two runs for the Twins. Scott Baker went five innings for the victory, giving up seven hits and two runs.

Carlos Beltran was 3-for-4 with one RBI for the Mets. Oliver Perez allowed four runs on five hits over 5 1-3 innings to suffer the loss.
