Mets sweep Giants

The New York Mets scored four runs in the seventh inning Thursday, as they got past the San Francisco Giants 7-3 for a sweep of the three-game set at Shea Stadium.

New York won the game as -220 favorites, and the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Fernando Tatis hit a two-run homer and finished with four RBIs for the Mets. Scott Schoeneweis got the win in relief.

Randy Winn hit a two-run double in a losing effort for the Giants. Sergio Romo gave up three runs in relief to suffer the loss on the mound.
