Rowand, Phillies slam White Sox
Aaron Rowand belted a grand slam home run, as the Philadelphia Phillies doubled the Chicago White Sox 8-4 Wednesday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park.
Philadelphia won the game as -120 favorites at home, while the 12 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (10).
Rowand finished with five RBI as the Phillies won the second straight of the three-game set. Ryan Madson picked up his first win of the season with a scoreless inning of relief.
Alex Cintron had three hits for the White Sox, and Jermaine Dye was 2-for-4 with one RBI. Matt Thornton surrendered five runs in relief to take the loss.
