Rockies double Phillies in opener
Yorvit Torrealba had two hits and drove in one run, as the Colorado Rockies took Game 1 of their NL playoff series with a 4-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies Wednesday at Citizens Bank Park.
Colorado won the game as +140 underdogs, while the six runs were UNDER the posted over/under (9).
Matt Holliday homered for the Rockies, and Jeff Francis allowed four hits and two runs over six innings for the victory.
Aaron Rowand and Pat Burrell homered in a losing effort for the Phillies. Cole Hamels surrendered three hits and three runs over 6 2-3 innnings in the loss.
