Phillies edge D-Backs in 12 innings

Jayson Werth drove in the winning run in the 12th inning Friday, as the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-5 at Citizens Bank Park.

Philadelphia won the game as -150 favorites, and the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9.5).

Shane Victorino went 3-for-6 at the plate with two RBIs for the Phillies. Rudy Seanez tossed an inning of scoreless relief to earn the victory.

Alex Romero drove in one run and went 2-for-5 at the plate for the D-Backs. Connor Robertson allowed the winning run and was tagged with the loss.
