The NL East division-leading Philadelphia Phillies got back in the win column after having a 10-game win streak snapped, as they defeated the San Diego Padres 9-4 Thursday night in an April rainout game made up at Citizens Bank Park.

Philadelphia won the game as -310 favorites, while the 13 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Jayson Werth went 3-for-5 at the plate with one RBI and scored twice for the Phillies. Cole Hamels tossed seven innings for the win, allowing four hits and three runs.

Kyle Blanks smacked a two-run homer for the Padres. Kevin Correia surrendered nine hits and eight runs over 3 1-3 innings in the loss.
