Phillies outlast Reds in opener

Brian Schneider belted a walkoff home run in the 12th inning to give the Philadelphia Phillies a 4-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds in the opener of a four-game series Thursday night.

The Phillies won the game as +105 underdogs, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9.5) set by sportsbooks.

Shane Victorino went 3-for-4 with a solo home run for the Phillies. Nelson Figueroa pitched two scoreless innings of relief to earn the win.

Jordan Smith gave up the winning run and was saddled with the Reds loss.
