Phillies drop Marlins

Chase Utley and Placido Polanco both went 2-for-4 with two runs batted in to lead the Philadelphia Phillies past the Florida Marlins 7-4 in the second game of their doubleheader on Monday night.

Philadelphia won as -190 home favorites, while the teams played OVER the 8-run total listed by oddsmakers.

Shane Victorino was 3-for-5 with an RBI for the Phillies, as Roy Oswalt allowed four runs over seven innings to get the win for Philadelphia.

Anibal Sanchez was rocked for seven runs over four innings to take the loss for Florida, which won Game 1 of the twinbill 7-1 as +140 underdogs earlier in the day.
