Pirates win ugly against Jays

The Pittsburgh Pirates scored the winning run off an error Friday, as they defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 1-0 in 12 innings at PNC Park.

Pittsburgh won the game as +145 underdogs, while the team’s played UNDER the posted UNDER the posted over/under (8).

Doug Mientkiewicz went 3-for-4 at the plate for the Pirates. Tyler Yates tossed two scoreless innings for the win.

Alex Rios had two hits for the Blue Jays, while Jesse Carlson gave up the winning run and suffered the loss.
