Rockies rally past Pirates
The Colorado Rockies scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning Friday, as they defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-1 in the opener at PNC Park.
Colorado won the game as -110 pick'em, while the four runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Brad Hawpe belted a two-run homer for the Rockies. Alan Embree tossed the win in relief, and Huston Street collected his fifth save.
Craig Monroe drove in the lone run for the Pirates. Matt Capps gave up all three runs and suffered the loss.
