Bailey, Reds shut down Pirates

Homer Bailey tossed a complete game four-hit shutout to lift the Cincinnati Reds to a 5-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates and a sweep of the three-game set Wednesday at PNC Park.

The Reds won this game as a -110 pick’em, while the teams played UNDER the posted over/under (9) set by sportsbooks.

Joey Votto belted a two-run homer to lead the Reds at the plate, while Drew Stubbs homered and scored twice in the victory.

Zach Duke surrendered nine hits and five earned runs over his five innings for the Pirates.
