Late rally gives Pirates series win
Garrett Jones drove in three runs and the Pittsburgh Pirates scored six times in the seventh to defeat the Philadelphia Phillies 8-5 Sunday and clinch the four-game set at PNC Park.
The Pirates won the game as +115 underdogs, while the 13 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5) set by sportsbooks.
Evan Meek pitched the win in relief for the Pirates, and Octavio Dotel notched his 19th save.
Jose Contreras suffered the loss for the Phillies, giving up three runs in relief of starter Joe Blanton.
