Pirates outgun Brewers

Pedro Alvarez was 2-for-4 with two homers and five runs batted in to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates past the Milwaukee Brewers 11-9 on Tuesday night.

Pittsburgh cashed as +115 home underdogs, while the game played OVER the 9-run total set by sportsbooks.

Jose Tabata drove in two runs for the Pirates, as D.J. Carrasco picked up the win in relief of Brad Lincoln for Pittsburgh.

Jim Edmonds went 4-for-5 with a three-run blast for Milwaukee, while losing pitcher Dave Bush was tagged for five earned runs over four innings for the Brewers.
