Reds blank Pirates

Travis Wood tossed seven scoreless innings to earn the win in the Cincinnati Reds' 4-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday night.

Cincinnati won as -150 road favorites, while the teams played UNDER the 7.5-run total set by oddsmakers.

Miguel Cairo drove in two runs for the Reds, as Chris Heisey went 2-for-3 with a homer for Cincinnati.

Ross Ohlendorf gave up three runs over five innings to take the loss for Pittsburgh, which managed only three hits on the night.
