Cards avoid sweep by Pirates
Albert Pujols belted two homers and drove in three runs to power the St. Louis Cardinals to a 9-2 thumping of the Pittsburgh Pirates Thursday, avoiding a three-game sweep at PNC Park.
The Cardinals won the game as +110 underdogs, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9) set by sportsbooks.
