Dodgers down Padres
The Los Angeles Dodgers scored three runs in the seventh inning and held on for a 5-2 victory over the San Diego Padres Wednesday night at Petco Park.
Los Angeles won the game as -170 favorites, but the seven runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (7.5).
Manny Ramirez went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in three runs for the Dodgers. Chad Billingsley allowed just two hits and two runs over six innings for the win, and Jonathan Broxton notched his second save.
Jody Gerut and David Eckstein drove in the runs for San Diego. Edward Mujica gave up three runs in relief and was tagged with the loss.
