Padres get past Giants

The San Diego Padres scored early and held on for a 2-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants Wednesday night at Petco Park.

San Diego won the game as -145 favorites, and the three runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8).

Kevin Kouzmanoff homered and finished 2-for-4 at the plate for the Padres. Chad Gaudin went six innings for the win, and Heath Bell collected his 11th save.

Emmanuel Burriss drove in the lone run for the Giants. Jonathan Sanchez surrendered two hits and two runs over six innings in the loss.
