Blanks, Padres upend Cubs

Kyle Blanks' walk-off, three-run homer highlighted a four-run ninth inning, and lifted the San Diego Padres to a 4-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Monday night.

San Diego won as +105 home underdogs as the teams played UNDER the 7.5-run total set by oddsmakers.

Chase Headley was 2-for-4 with a run batted in for the Padres, while Heath Bell picked up the win in relief of starter Kevin Correia for San Diego.

Aramis Ramirez went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Chicago, as Kevin Gregg was handed the loss after allowing all four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning.
