Padres edge D-Backs in 10 innings

Everth Cabrera drove in the winning run in the 10th inning to give the San Diego Padres a 6-5 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks and helped them avoid a series sweep at Petco Park.

San Diego won the game as -125 favorites, and the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8).

Adrian Gonzalez went deep for a two-run homer for the Padres. Heath Bell tossed a scoreless 10th inning for the victory.

Justin Upton was a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate with one RBI for the Diamondbacks. Yusmeiro Petit gave up the winning run and was tagged with the loss.
