Marlins hold off Padres

The Florida Marlins gave up three runs in the ninth Saturday, but managed to hang on and defeat the San Diego Padres 6-4.

The Marlins won the game as +105 underdogs, while the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (6.5) set by sportsbooks.

Mike Stanton had two hits including a two-run homer for the Marlins. Ricky Nolasco improved to 12-7 with the win, and Leo Nunez earned his 26th save.

Kevin Correia gave up four hits and three runs over six innings in the loss.
