The Yankees were road favorites at -120, and the ten runs scored were OVER the posted total of 8.5.

Kei Igawa allowed two runs on five hits over 4 2-3 innings, and Luis Vizcaino (4-1) took the win. Alex Rodriguez was 4-for-4 with two RBIs for the Yankees.

Matt Cain (2-8) gave up five runs on seven hits over five innings, while Barry Bonds went 1-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs for the Giants.
