The San Francisco Giants grabbed the opener of a three-game series by defeating the Texas Rangers 6-4 Friday night.

San Francisco won the game as -120 favorites, while the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8).

Fred Lewis went deep for a two-run shot for the Giants. Sergio Romo earned his first win of the season in relief, and Brian Wilson collected his 18th save.

Marlon Byrd collected two RBIs for the Rangers. Scott Feldman gave up eight hits and five runs over six innings in the loss.
