The Washington Nationals avoided a three-game sweep with a 6-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants in the finale of a three-game series Wednesday at A T & T Park.

Washington won the game as +120 underdogs, while the nine runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).

Nick Johnson went 4-for-5 at the plate with two RBIs for the Nationals. Shairon Martis allowed two hits and one run over seven innings to improve to 5-0 on the season.

Barry Zito gave up eight hits and four runs over 6 1-3 innings in the loss.
