Lincecum had a career-high 15 strikeouts for the Giants, who got two runs batted in from Andres Torres in the payday.
Ryan Doumit and Garrett Jones had RBIs for Pittsburgh, while Paul Maholm was handed the loss after giving up four runs over six innings for the Pirates.
