Freddy Sanchez drove in two runs to lead the San Francisco Giants over the Washington Nationals 4-2 on Tuesday night.

Edgar Renteria was 2-for-3 with a run batted in for the Giants, as winning pitcher Todd Wellemeyer gave up two runs over six innings for San Francisco.

Josh Willingham and Ian Desmond knocked in runs for Washington, while Livan Hernandez allowed four runs over five innings to take the defeat for the Nationals.
