Reds down Giants in marathon

Joey Votto singled in the winning run in the top of the 12th inning as the Cincinnati Reds beat the San Francisco Giants 12-11 Wednesday, avoiding a three-game sweep at AT & T Park.

The Reds won the game as +105 underdogs, while the 23 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (7.5) set by sportsbooks.

Votto belted two homers and drove in four runs to lead the way. Francisco Cordero pitched two scoreless innings to earn the win on the hill for the Reds.
