Cubs sink Cards
Felix Pie and Aramis Ramirez each hit two-run homers in the fourth inning on Friday, lifting the Chicago Cubs to a 5-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.
The Cubs were road underdogs at 110, and the eight runs scored were UNDER the posted total of 8.5.
Jason Marquis (3-1) went 6 2/3 innings, giving up three runs on five hits. Cesar Izturis was 1-for-1 with an RBI for the Cubs.
Anthony Reyes (0-4) allowed four runs on four innings in six innings of work, and Yadier Molina was 3-for-4 with two RBI for the Cardinals.
