Duncan, Cardinals slam Cubs

Chris Duncan belted a grand slam in helping the St. Louis Cardinals crushed the Chicago Cubs 11-1 Thursday night at Busch Stadium.

St. Louis won the game as –110 favorites, while the 12 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9).

Albert Pujols hit a three-run homer, and finished with five RBI for the Cardinals. Braden Looper tossed a five-hitter through seven innings for the win.

Derrek Lee homered for the only run for the Cubs, while Jason Marquis was tagged for five hits and six runs over five innings in the loss.
