Cardinals sneak past Tigers
The St. Louis Cardinals won their second straight of the series with a 4-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers Wednesday night.
St. Louis won the game as +105 underdogs, while the seven runs went UNDER the night’s posted over/under (8.5).
Colby Rasmus went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs for the Cardinals. Todd Wellemeyer improved to 6-6 with the win, and Ryan Franklin pitched the ninth for his 16th save.
Curtis Granderson hits two home runs for the Tigers, while Edwin Jackson gave up seven hits and three runs over six innings in the loss.
