Rockies ground Cardinals
The Colorado Rockies pounded St. Louis for the second straight game on Saturday, as they defeated the Cardinals 10-1 at Busch Stadium.
Colorado won the game as +125 underdogs, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Ian Stewart cracked two home runs and drove in five runs for the Rockies. Aaron Cook tossed eight innings for the win, allowing four hits and one run.
Rick Ankiel homered in a losing cause for the Cardinals. Todd Wellemeyer gave up six hits and six runs over seven innings in taking the loss.
