Cardinals shut out Reds
Chris Carpetner pitched seven shutout innings, allowing only two runs with eight strikeouts Sunday, as the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Cincinnati Reds 6-0.

Albert Pujols drove in three runs for St. Louis and David Freese hit a solo home run.
Aaron Harang took the loss for Cincinnati after allowing three runs on seven hits in six innings.
