Cardinals cruise past Reds

Ryan Ludwick and Felipe Lopez both went 2-for-4 with two runs batted in, as the St. Louis Cardinals hammered the Cincinnati Reds 12-4 on Monday.

St.Louis cashed as -165 home favorites, while the teams played OVER the 7.5-run total listed by oddsmakers.

Matt Holliday, Skip Schumaker, and Jon Jay also knocked in two runs apiece for the Cardinals, as Jaime Garcia allowed two runs over six innings to pick up the win for St. Louis.

Jonny Gomes drove in two runs for Cincinnati, while Bronson Arroyo was rocked for seven runs over 4 1-3 innings to take the loss for the Reds.
