Cubs surprise Cardinals

Randy Wells allowed one run over eight innings to pick up the win, as the Chicago Cubs downed the St. Louis Cardinals 7-2 on Tuesday night.

Chicago cashed as +210 road underdogs, while the game played OVER the 7-run total posted by oddsmakers.

Wells went 2-for-4 with two runs batted in for the Cubs, as Xavier Nady was 3-for-5 with three RBIs for Chicago.

Matt Holliday went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for St. Louis, while losing pitcher Adam Wainwright gave up five runs over eight innings for the Cardinals.
