Angels drop Rays in extra innings

Juan Rivera's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th inning lifted the Los Angeles Angels over the Tampa Bay Rays 5-4 on Monday night.

Los Angeles cashed as +130 home underdogs, while the teams played OVER the 8.5-run total set by oddsmakers.

Mike Napoli hit a two-run homer for the Angels, as Trevor Bell picked up the win in relief of Joel Pineiro for Los Angeles.

Evan Longoria was 2-for-6 with two runs batted in for Tampa Bay, while Grant Balfour took the loss after allowing Rivera's sac fly in the bottom of the 11th.
