Tigers down Orioles; snap skid

The Detroit Tigers stopped a two-game slide to Baltimore with a 6-3 win over the Orioles Saturday night at Camden Yards.

Detroit won the game as -135 favorites, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Clete Thomas belted two home runs and finished with three RBIs for the Tigers. Justin Verlander went six innings for the win, allowing nine hits and three runs.

Luke Scott belted his 11th home run of the season in a losing cause for the Orioles. Matt Albers gave up three runs in relief and suffered the loss.
