Tigers shut out Orioles

Edwin Jackson pitched eight shutout innings and allowed only two hits while striking out seven Sunday, as the Detroit Tigers defeated the Baltimore Orioles 3-0.

Curtis Granderson hit a solo home run for Detroit and Jeff Larish was 2-3 with an RBI.

Jason Berken allowed only one run on four hits in seven innings to take the loss for Baltimore.
