Mets rally to topple Red Sox
Omir Santos belted a two-run homer in the ninth inning to power the New York Mets to a 3-2 victory over the Boston Red Sox Saturday night at Fenway Park.
The Mets won the game as +180 underdogs, while the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (10).
Gary Sheffield drove in the other run for the Mets. Mike Pelfrey threw seven solid innings for the win, allowing six hits and two runs.
Kevin Youkilis drove in both runs in a losing effort for the Red Sox. Jonathan Papelbon gave up two runs in suffering the loss on the mound.
