Braves roll past Red Sox
Kenshin Kawakami allowed just two runs over six innings in helping the Atlanta Braves whip the Boston Red Sox 8-2 Friday night in the opener of a three-game set at Fenway Park.
Atlanta won the game as +140 underdogs, while the 10 runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (10).
Garret Anderson went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBIs to lead the way for the Braves.
Jason Bay belted a two-run homer in a losing effort for the Red Sox. Daisuke Matsuzaka allowed eight hits and six runs over four innings.
