The Chicago White Sox avoided a four-game sweep by crushing the Boston Red Sox 9-5 Thursday night in the series finale at Fenway Park.
Chicago won the game as +105 underdogs, and the 14 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (10).
Jayson Nix led the White Sox with three runs batted in, while Carlos Quentin belted a two-run homer. John Danks improved to 12-8 with the victory.
J.D. Drew belted two home runs for the Red Sox. Junichi Tazawa allowed 10 hits and nine runs over four innings in the loss.
