White Sox down Dodgers in extra innings

Scott Podsednik singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning Thursday to give the Chicago White Sox a 6-5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The White Sox were a +140 underdog in the game and the 11 runs scored went OVER the posted over/under total (9).

A.J. Pierzynski hit a three-run home run for Chicago and Paul Konerko added a solo blast.

Orlando Hudson was 3-6 with a pair of RBI for Los Angeles and Mark Loretta also drove in two runs.
