Royals edge White Sox
Coco Crisp belted a two-run homer to give the Kansas City Royals a 2-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox Thursday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field.
Kansas City won the game as +145 underdogs, while the team’s played UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Ron Mahay tossed an inning of relief to earn the win, and Joakim Soria collected the save.
Jermaine Dye drove in the only run for the White Sox. Bobby Jenks surrendered both runs in relief and was saddled with the loss.
